1. General

We only collect and use your personal data in accordance with the provisions of German data protection law. The decisive provisions are those of the German Data Protection Act (BDSG), as well as more specific legal provisions, especially those of the German Telecommunications Act (TKG) and the German Telemedia Act (TMG).

The aforementioned provisions apply to personal data. Personal data constitutes individual details about the personal and factual circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person. When establishing contact via post, email or online form, this may include the name, address or email address, for example. Personal data is not shared with third parties for commercial or non-commercial reasons.

We are hereby providing you with information about how, why and to what extent we collect and use the data that is collected when you visit our website. As the technologies used may be changed, we recommend to read through this privacy policy periodically.

3. Access to the website

When you visit this website, access-related information such as the date, time and visited webpage is stored (e.g in log files). This includes:

  • Visited website
  • Name of the retrieved file
  • Date and time of the retrieval
  • Amount of data sent in bytes
  • Report if retrieval was successful
  • URL of the referring site
  • Type and version of browser
  • Operating system
  • IP address

The logfiles are temporarily stored and finally deleted. The storage of data is due to security reasons, e. g. to investigate abuse. If data needs to be stored as evidence, it is excluded from deletion until the incident is finally resolved. 

4. Contact via email/phone/telephone/fax

When contacting us by email or the other above mentioned communication channels, the following applies: We take technical and organisational measures to protect this data in accordance with the provisions of the German Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the German Telemedia Act (TMG). By sending the email or online form, you agree to us storing, processing and using your personal data as appropriate.

We will only use the data to answer your enquiries and for the purpose of technical administration. According to Art. 34 BDSG and Art 13 (7) TMG, you have the right to be informed of the data that we hold about you; furthermore, according to Art. 35 BDSG, you are entitled at any time to have this personal data corrected, deleted or blocked. Under your statutory right to information, you can therefore find out which personal data we hold about you; you can do so at any time, free of charge and without having to specify reasons. You may at any time and without explanation also revoke your consent to us collecting and using your data.

5. Cookies

The cookies that are placed by HFT Stuttgart serve to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored by your browser and on your computer. Cookies do not damage your device or contain viruses.

In your browser you can block the setting of cookies. In this case, features controlled by cookies cannot be used anymore. In your browser, you can check the saved cookies and delete individual cookies.

In the cookies the following data is saved and transmitted:

  • Language settings
  • Log in information
  • Used Technologies

The server with the WordPress installation is hosted in the computer center of HFT. The plugins Antispam Bee, Polylang and Cookie Notice are used.

Antispam Bee is an open source anti spamming program provided by pluginkollektiv. According to provider information it is DSGVO conform and does not transfer personal data to third parties:

The plugin Polylang sets cookies for the language settings (see paragraph Cookies).

6. User Rights

As data subject you have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), the right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), or the right to object (Art. 21 GDPR) as well as the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).

You have the right, to revoke your consent at any time. By revoking your consent, the lawfulness of processing based on your consent prior to your revocation is not affected. Furthermore, you have the right of appeal at the data protection supervisor authority LfDI Baden-Württemberg.
